Literature Text

she spoke
in the place where ever
meets infinity

eight perfect circles
rounding their sources

symbols
of fertility rites and
vessels

encompassing a concept
only dreamt of
in the darkest of their
holy nights

she spoke,
whispering age-old truths
she was born
to understand

her eyes perceived in new vision

no longer the
passions and pleasures
of youth

she began to see in terms
of future
and forever

embodiment
of the greatest possible
immortality

murmuring her hopes and fears
she caressed her body's newborn swells
soothing the wildness within
More and more these days I imagine what it must feel like to be a mother. Someday, I hope to see if my imagination was at all close to reality.

I almost got jealous of my lady being able to carry our child. Almost.

Though I can't speak of speak of motherhood, I can speak of parenthood, and to use a much overused word, it's amazing. Many are not up to the task, but I have no doubt you'll make a vercaring and understanding mother. :)

Be warned though. Babies/toddlers are the easy part. [link]
