Tiny phoenix of my breast
Whose healing tears in cycle come
Blazing sobs, and ashes rest
As stars to days and back succumb
So you rise and fall in me
The victim of my fated birth
Made to bend to pow'r of she
Which compromise my soul to earth
And back again, beyond
Constraining logic, or the truth
Found in reason's cloying bond
Which decays a blinded tooth
Wounded creature, hold your pain
And find a way to moderate
I fear sometimes I go insane
How can I possibly placate
The inflamed sorrows of this heart
It so unwillingly will part?
